Great Technique

Great Technique Dance Academy, Wyandotte's leading dance studio, offers high-quality dance instruction in a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment.  Our ballet, tap, and jazz/hip-hop classes are offered for children and teens ages 3 years and up.  Private lessons for students of all levels are also available by appointment.

At Great Technique, we believe in keeping things simple and straightforward. That’s why our mission is simple: to nurture strong, confident, and technically proficient dancers. We believe these qualities are fostered through a supportive, non-competitive environment. We don’t participate in competitions or favor individual students, because our goal is to provide every student with the best dance education in the Downriver area.

Qualified instructors are essential to ensuring your child receives the best education possible. That’s why every staff member at Great Technique has had a career as a professional dancer and educator. Here you won’t find teenage instructors or classroom assistants. Our 3-year-old students are taught by the same teachers as our advanced students.

At Great Technique you'll encounter no hidden costs such as registration fees, and we’ll never ask you to fundraise. Your financial obligation is simple: you pay for dance classes and your child’s dancewear. That’s it.
